This is the compilation of papers presented at the first International conference held on Energising the SDGs through appropriate technologies and governance. The two-day event attracted researchers from various parts of the world who contributed papers on different themes including city action plans and alignment with the SDGs; urban development and the SDGs; energy and the SDGs; access to health and water services and performance evaluation of local level interventions.
