BBC Radio Leicester Interview Manav Utsav

Manav Utsav (Human Festival) was launched in July 2020 as a response to the pandemic, to celebrate the South Asian Heritage Month in the UK. Our core partners are Celebrate Our Similarities (COS), Sangeet Foundation (SF), South Asian Health Action (SAHA), An Indian Summer, Inspirate, Blue Palette, and Elixir.

The goal of Manav Utsav is to help the multi-ethnic community in Leicester and beyond to empower and build resilience through creative arts and media. This year before the launch of Manav Utsav 2021, I was invited by BBC Radio Leicester to talk about the festival and community empowerment.
