To assess the powder flow characteristics developed under the conditions of flow using an electrostatic sensor. Parameters assessed include: the powder mass flow rate w.r.t. the root-mean-square RMS of the electrostatic signal; the relative electrostatic charge obtained by normalising the RMS signal against the powder mass flow rate; and the powder velocity obtained via cross-correlation.
