Elmina Homapour has extensive experience in Industry and academia. Elmina holds a PhD, an MSc and a BSc and she is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her research interests lie in the area of Business Intelligence and Organizational Development, in particular, using data analytics and machine learning in society enhancement research. She is a member of Royal Economics Society (RES), Computational and Financial Econometrics (CFE network) and Institute for Applied Economics and Social Value (IAESV) and Institute for Artificial Intelligence (IAI) at DMU. She has been working as a lecturer from 2012-2018 at Queen Mary University of London, and she has worked as an accountant, manager and data analyst in transport and Insurance companies as well as Banks. She was selected as the Prominent Young Manufacturer at the Second National Festival of Young Manufacturers by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in November 2008.
